Country Artist Takes Audiences from Nashville to the Ocean with Latest Music

Carl Wayne: “Headin’ to the Beach” and Making Waves with New Projects

NASHVILLE, TENNNESSEE, UNITED STATES, May 3, 2023/EINPresswire.com/ — Nashville singer and songwriter Carl Wayne Meekins is celebrating rest and relaxation with the arrival of his new single, “Headin’ to the Beach”, currently being distributed to over 2,000 radio stations. He explains, “This music takes me back to life growing up. We were always near the water. There’s something therapeutic about the ocean. Summer’s right around the corner. The timing is right for this song.”

Carl Wayne is known back home by friends and family as CW. He grew up in Southeast Virginia where he met his wife Tonya and enjoyed a life, closer to the beach. However, for him to pursue a career in music, the newlyweds decided to make the move to Nashville. That was over 20 years ago, in which time, they’ve since welcomed their daughter, Carlie.

While pursuing his musical dreams, CW decided to build a business around another passion of his; home construction and remodeling. “I thought it was important to develop something solid to support my family. That decision has turned out to be a real blessing. It’s allowing me to expand into my other interests.”

This includes Meekins putting a creative team together for building out the entertainment side of his brand. They’ve got a lot happening. Along with releasing new music and booking upcoming concerts, he’s also got a reality show in development, based around home remodeling. Initially the program will be online through YouTube and other streaming platforms. “We believe this project will resonate with a lot of people on the internet and beyond! Because we are in Nashville, you’ll see us working on the homes of famous musicians and other high profile industry people. Other times, we’ll work with individuals who aren’t well known, and we just want to put a spotlight on them, because they deserve it.”

He and his crew are even developing a video podcast, which he’ll host. “I will have the studio right here at home, where we’re building out a nice set. I’m naturally curious about people. There are so many who inspire me and this show will give me a chance to tell their story,”says Meekins

As for now, “Headin’ to the Beach” will be pushed out to all major streaming platforms and radio stations across America. Carl Wayne feels confident about audience feedback. He says, “I’ve worked with my producer Jeremy Johnson for 12 years. He’s told me that he believes this one of the best songs we’ve put together and it’s definitely one of my favorites. This song lends itself to so many aspects of my life.”
